I’m a huge fan of the potent all-wheel drive performance and aggressive styling that every generation of the Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution has offered, and it’s a shame that this fantastic performance sedan is no longer in production. This particular Lancer Evolution X touts a 5-speed manual transmission and some great factory equipment, like front and rear limited-slip differentials, Brembo brakes, and Recaro front seats. It also features minimal modifications, which is becoming a rarity for this model. Plus, this Lancer Evolution has been kept by its original owner in dry-climate California since new, which further adds to its appeal.
Highlights
THIS… is a 2010 Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution X GSR, finished in Graphite Gray with a black interior.
- This Lancer Evolution features a 5-speed manual transmission.
- The attached Carfax history report lists no mileage discrepancies; it also shows one owner in California since new.
- According to the window sticker pictured in the gallery, factory equipment includes Super All-Wheel Control (S-AWC), front and rear limited-slip differentials, Brembo brakes, cloth upholstery, Recaro front sport seats, and Bluetooth connectivity. The only modification reported by the seller is an aftermarket shift knob.
- Mitsubishi’s 10th and final Lancer Evolution arrived for 2008. It gained a new, more powerful engine, a revised suspension system, and a design inspired by sharks and fighter jets, according to the company. MR denoted an automatic transmission, while stick-shifted variants were called GSR. Mitsubishi canceled the Lancer Evolution in 2016, and it all but confirmed the model will not return in the foreseeable future.
- Power comes from a 4B11T 2.0-liter turbocharged inline-4, rated at 291 horsepower and 300 lb-ft of torque. Output is sent to all four wheels via a 5-speed manual transmission.
