I’ve been a fan of every generation of Lancer Evo since the first one, and it’s a shame they aren’t sold anymore. The Evo X is the last iteration of the storied rally car, and it’s really special – boasting excellent performance and handling thanks to Mitsubishi’s Super All-Wheel Control 4-wheel drive system. This particular Evo X has some great things going for it, including the Aero Kit Package, a Rockford Fosgate sound system, and an extensive list of performance modifications. Plus, this Evo comes with a clean, accident-free Carfax history report that shows just one owner from new.
Highlights
THIS… is a 2011 Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution GSR, finished in Phantom Black Pearl with a black interior.
The attached Carfax vehicle history report lists no mileage discrepancies in this Mitsubishi’s past; it also shows that this is a one-owner car.
Factory equipment includes 18-inch alloy wheels, Brembo brakes, a sport-tuned suspension, Recaro bucket seats, a Rockford Fosgate sound system, and more as detailed below.
Modifications to this Evo are extensive, and the full list is detailed below. Highlights include an IveyTune ECU tune, ETS intake and intercooler, an ETS dual-muffler exhaust, Swift lowering springs, stainless steel brake lines, an ACT Stage 1 Street clutch and flywheel, a carbon fiber hood scoop, and a VIS Racing carbon fiber trunk lid.
Mitsubishi’s 10th and final Lancer Evolution arrived for the 2008 model year. It gained a new, more powerful engine, a revised suspension system, and a design inspired by sharks and fighter jets, according to the manufacturer. Mitsubishi canceled the Lancer Evolution in 2016, and it all but confirmed the model will not return in the foreseeable future.
Power comes from a 2.0-liter turbocharged inline-4, rated at 291 horsepower and 300 lb-ft of torque in stock form. Due to the modifications performed to this Lancer it produces about 357 horsepower and 332 lb-ft of torque at the wheels, according to a dyno sheet provided in the gallery. Output is sent to all four wheels via a 5-speed manual transmission.
