The Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution X is a special car, and finding one in decent shape is getting hard; most of these have been crashed or over-modified to the point where they’re not easily usable on the road. This example has exceptionally low mileage, at under 18,000 miles, and it boasts a manual transmission – and while it has a few modifications, they’re limited to some desirable upgrades and nothing over the top. This Evo also boasts a clean Carfax report, which adds to the appeal.
Highlights
THIS… is a 2011 Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution X GSR, finished in white with a black interior.
This Evolution X GSR is equipped with the desirable 5-speed manual transmission, and it’s odometer currently indicates approximately 17,900 miles.
The attached Carfax vehicle history report shows no accidents or mileage discrepancies in this car’s past; it also shows that it’s been registered under two owners since new.
Factory equipment includes 18-inch alloy wheels, HID headlights, Recaro front sport seats in black fabric, a Rockford-Fosgate Punch premium sound system, automatic climate control, and a multi-information color display in the instrument cluster, among others.
Modifications reported by the seller include the installation of an aftermarket exhaust system, cold-air intake, blow-off valve, boost controller, 1050cc fuel injectors, and an E85 tune.
Mitsubishi’s 10th and final Lancer Evolution arrived for the 2008 model year. It gained a new, more powerful engine, a revised suspension system, and a design inspired by sharks and fighter jets, according to the manufacturer. Mitsubishi canceled the Lancer Evolution in 2016, and it all but confirmed the model will not return in the foreseeable future.
Power for this Lancer Evolution X comes from a turbocharged “4B11” 2.0-liter inline-4, rated at 291 horsepower and 300 lb-ft of torque. Due to the modifications performed to this Lancer, it likely produces more power, but no dyno sheet was provided to confirm. Output is sent to all four wheels via a 5-speed manual transmission and an all-wheel drive system.
