DESCRIPTION:
(Stage 3 build)
What we offer in this transmission is the best of the best in terms of functionality, Strength and Durability. Specifically built for racing application allowing high torque and bhp throughout the drive set with substantially reduced fatigue resistance.
Quicker shifting is now possible along with 20 to 30% gain in strength due to Shot peening and REM Isotropic Super Finishing of the hubs and sleeves, shift rails and shift assembly along with adding cooler running Temps. All Synchronisation bulk ring are replace with custom modified carbon ones to give that extra bite at high rpm gear changes and Durability. The output shaft is replaced with a stronger Brena Corsa solid shaft to avoid damage to the transfer box.
The whole box is blue printed to confirm the correct mesh and tolerances for the best possible touch. Modified bearings are used throughout the build to cope with the added stress and load on the components along with new hardened steel thrust washers.
A modification can now be made to the dreaded input shaft bearing replacing it with a tapper bearing giving a tighter preload helping it to hold the shaft making the gears and input shaft stronger allowing more power to be sustained.
Input shaft failure is common on high torque Evo transmissions mainly we see fatigue on either the clutch radial splines or the 5th driven gear. With this in mind an alternative shaft is used along with added attention to detail when shot peening these areas, 3rd and 4th gear also under go the same treatment.
Modifications are made to the oiling system of the box to allow increased oil flow to the critical components along with a case modification to allow more oil to dump into the sump.
Upgrade to the 1st gear needle bearing is also added due to the high radial forces causing the gear to fail under heavy loads such as launches.

We have now produced many Stage 3 boxes all in vehicles running from 550 ft lbs to 730 ft lbs torque.
This specific gearbox comes with a High load top bearing, internal conduit oil canal and oil gantry modification. This in turn allows a more reliable, efficient and constant supply of oil to key area’s within the transmission. The higher load bearing allows a higher thrust and torque load to be added to the Drivetrain.
The next step is to make the reservoir plate removable, the reason we do this is to give access to the internal oil ways, this helps to remove any excess swarf or contamination build up throughout the life of the transmission and also allows servicing, we add security torque bolts to lock the plate in place. We can now service the chamber’s this is a great for end of session servicing.
Now we add a Neodymium Magnet these free energy magnets are very strong and will be sure to stop any unwanted contaminants entering the vital components.

The workmanship and attention to detail that goes into one of our gearbox builds is bar non you will not find any corners cut here. We pride our selves on our gearbox builds not only internal but external and guarantee our boxes.
All preload shims custom ground in house to a 1 micron tolerance. Gear contact mesh checked throughout with gear detailing available upon request. A properly rebuilt automotive part.
Rebuild includes full strip and cleaning of internal oiling system, with modifications to increase oil flow.
The item has been completely disassembled, cleaned and examined for wear and breakage. Worn out, missing or non-functioning components have been replaced with new or rebuilt components. It is the functional equivalent of a new part and is virtually indistinguishable from a new part.
WARRANTY:
We’ll also guarantee our work for 1 years, or 12,000 miles (whichever comes first) on fitted gearboxes, 6 months / 6,000 miles on ‘take-away’ units and 3 months for all auxiliary parts.
